Today, the Church celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This feast commemorates Mary’s appearance at Saint Juan Diego starting on December 9, 1531, and culminating in her final appearance on December 12, where she left Saint Juan Diego with a miraculous image of herself. This event forever transformed the people of Mexico.
